Frequently Asked Questions

Click the questions below to view the answers to our most frequently asked web questions. If we did not address a particular question, please feel free to contact us, we will be more then happy to answer any questions you might have about our solutions and products.

1 - How much does a website cost?

The development and configuration of your website has an initial set up. That set up fee can be paid in full or we can work out a payment plan with you.

All websites come equipped with hosting and maintenance, this is charged on a monthly subscription basis "Pay-as-you-Go". We collect your payment information, encrypt the data and set up an electronic funds transfer so that you don't have to worry about ever missing a payment. Advance payments on an annual, semi-annual, or quarterly basis can also be configured. Please advise your support manager if you have an interest.

2 - Can I host my website through another vendor?

The short answer is yes.

But, we always recommend that all websites built and configured through us be hosted in our servers.

The reason for this is security, our servers follow rigid security procedures that utilize data encryption and redundant locations. This is vital for our products because they require users to enter sensitive data such as policy numbers, vehicle identification numbers, birth dates, etc. We can not guarantee the security or reliability of others servers and since most of our website come with our portfolio of products we shy away from none local hosting.

If you would like to inquire about none local hosting, please speak to your support manager.

3 - Can I use my current domain?

Yes, we will help you configure the domain to point to your new website with us.

If you need to purchase additional domain names you can purchase them through our partner at www.advancio.net

6 - How can I process changes to the content of my website?

All website packages come with a certain amount of free monthly maintenance. Maintenance is considered anytime an IT specialist needs to work on your account. In example, content changes, IT consultation, configuration, server set up, etc.  It is up to you how you want to use that maintenance time.

For simple content changes we always recommend the "Do it yourself" option in our easy-to-use admin portal.  This avoids you using maintenance time and empowers you to make content changes as many times and how often to you want.

7 - Who will provide the content to my website?

You can provide the content, hire a writer, or use our pre-written content library. We have pre-written content on most commonly sold insurance products.

But, remember that no one else knows your business or the image you want to send to your users better then you do. So if you are able to write your own content...that is always the better choice.
